Tyringham Election Calendar for 2020

I have attached, as well as listed below our Town, State, and Federal Election Schedule. Please note, I will update as soon as Early voting hours have been determined for the Presidential Primary and the Presidential/State Election.

To register to vote, you can do this online by clicking here, fill in and mail the Voter Registration (found here), or contact me, and I can assist you with this process.

If you are a minor, 16 and 17, you can also pre-register to vote. Feel free to schedule a time to meet with me and discuss this process. 

You need to be registered to vote a minimum of 20 days prior to an election. These dates are noted below in the election calendar. 

If you are unable to attend and election, but wish to obtain an Absentee Ballot, please complete the ballot application and either email, fax, or mail me the application. TOWN ELECTIONS

January 1, 2020 through March 20, 2020: Contact your Town Clerk's Office if you are interested in serving our town on one of the Open Elected Positions (list found here)

March 20, 2020 is the last day to have your name added to the Caucus Ballot. 

March 17, 2020: Last Day to register to vote prior to Annual Town Caucus 

April 6, 2020: Town Caucus 5 PM to 7 PM

May 29, 2020: Last Day to register to vote prior to Annual Town Meeting

June 4, 2020: Last Day to register to vote prior to Annual Town Election

June 13, 2020:  Annual Town Meeting 11 AM (Tyringham Pavillion)

June 12, 2020 by noon (12 PM): Last date and time to request Early Voter or Absentee Ballot for Annual Town Election

June 15, 2020: Annual Town Election 10 AM to 2 PM

Presidential and State Election Schedule

February 20, 2020: Last Day to register to vote prior to Presidential Primary

March 3, 2020: Presidential Primary 7 AM to 8 PM

August 22, 2020 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM

August 23, 2020 10 AM to 12 PM

August 25, 2020 10 AM to 2 PM

August 28, 2020 6 PM to 8 PM

August 22, 2020: is the last day you can register to vote prior to the State Primary. I will be at the Town Hall for in person voter registration from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM

August 26, 2020: Deadline to request a mail-in early ballot or absentee ballot by mail. Request must be received by 5 PM.

August 31, 2020: 12 PM (NOON) deadline to request Absentee Ballot

September 1, 2020: State Primary 7 AM to 8 PM

Absentee, Early Vote by mail ballots, and Federal Post Card Ballots to be received by 8 PM on September 1, 2020. 

September 1, 2020:  State Primary 7 AM to 8 PM

October 14, 2020: Last Day to register to vote prior to Presidential/State Election

November 3, 2020: Presidential / State Election 7 AM to 8 PM
