Town Election Update

Due to the Pandemic (COVID-19) the Select Board has voted to change the date of the Town Meeting and Town Election. Below is an updated list of dates that pertain to the updated Election Calendar. Please note, the time of the Town Meeting has been decreased to the State minimum of four hours. This decision was made with a lot of thought into voter safety. As we did with the Annual Town Caucus, voting will be held upstairs to allow for the booths to be twelve feet apart with the Automark in between.

We are encouraging Municipal Early Voter Ballot Application or Absentee Ballot applications for those who wish to receive their ballots at home and vote by mail, rather than vote in person due to safety concerns. Of course, we will be hosting limited in person voting hours (see below). If you have already applied, you do not need to do so again. If you have not applied and wish to receive a ballot to be mailed to you, you can obtain the Absentee Ballot here or the Municipal Election Early Voting Ballot here. I will also be placing hard copies of these applications in the Post Office where the Main-In Voter Registrations are currently kept (window to the right of the door as you go in, to the left if you are going out). To submit your Absentee or Early Ballot request forms, you can email me a copy with your signature to townclerk@bcn.net, by mail: PO Box 442, Tyringham, MA 01264, or you can place them in the Blue Mail Box attached to the Meeting Notice Bulletin Board at the Town Hall.

Should this date need to be changed again, we will update all voters.
