Ballot Drop Box

Good evening Registered Voters,

Clerks have been asked to remind voters, that there is a ballot drop box located in front of the Town Hall (116 Main Road) labeled Town Clerk Dropbox. If you are worried about mailing your ballot, this is an option. I check this drop box every evening on my ride home from work and will be checking it over the weekend as well to keep the ballots moving and processed.

As you know the deadline to return ballots is approaching. The deadline to have your ballot turned in to your town clerk is 8 PM on September 1, 2020.

On election day, please deliver your ballots to the Town Hall and not the post office as we do not have access to the postage drop box in the post office or outside of the post office. You do not need to come in, if you are concerned with safety, please drop it in the drop box. I will be checking this periodically on election day as well. However, you are welcome to come in and hand deliver your ballot.

As I have advertised prior, if you are concerned about if I have received your ballot or not, you can log on to the Secretary of State's website to track your ballot. Please note that it does take a bit to update, so if you do not see it when you check it, please try again in another hour or two. You can also reach out to me at townclerk@bcn.net, to see if I have processed your ballot.

Thank you for your time,

April A. Curtin
