Ballot Delivery

Good Evening all,

I just wanted to let everyone who has applied for an Absentee or an Early Vote Ballot know that we have received the ballots and the envelopes have officially been stuffed, stamped and sealed. Please note that your ballot will come with four items. You ballot, ballot instructions, the manilla envelope (AV7 or EV7) that your ballot goes into, and the white self-addressed postage paid envelope to mail your ballot.

When filling in the envelope your ballot goes into, please pay attention to the instructions, as I have to reject any ballot that has a error in the ballot envelope. This includes not completing all three lines. We are a small town and I know most of us know each other; however, these are official election documents and they need to be completed accurately in order to be accepted.

Also, please do not hold on to your ballots. It is important that you complete them as soon as your get them and return them ASAP. We do  have a drop box located in front of the Town Hall if you do not wish to mail your ballots. If you are uncomfortable in mailing your ballot in, you can also drop your ballots off at the Town Hall during early voting, or by appointment. You may also change your mind and decide you want to vote in person and that is okay too, as long as you do not return your ballot. Once you return your ballot, you cannot change your mind and vote in person.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. The election warrant will be posted following signature of the Selectmen at their next meeting (10/13/2020).

Thank you all for your patience in waiting for these much anticipated ballots,

April A. Curtin,

Town Clerk
