Primary Election Warrant for September 1, 2020

Date:
Tuesday, September 1, 2020 - 7:00am

Attached to this notice is the primary election warrant, which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 7 AM to 8 PM. When you come to the primary, you will notice that the setup is different from previous years elections. We have spaced the voting booths to accomodate six feet distancing. We have placed social distancing markers (circles) on the floor so that you will know where to stand. We are letting four voters in at a time, so we ask that you refrain from congregating or staying in the building to interact at this time. We love your company, however, we need to keep the line moving. Typically, this is not an issue in Tyringham, but we have been known to have a rush of people here and there. We ask that you wear a mask while voting. We have alcohol wipes to clean the voting stations as well as individual marking pencils that you can either take with you or dispose of in the trash. We are doing everything we can to keep your voting experience safe. We thank you ahead of time for your patience and working with us and these new regulations, while voting, for your safety and for the safety of our election workers.

Sincerely, your Town Clerk, April Curtin
