Community Choice Power Supply Program Consumer Notification

Due to very competitive pricing for electricity, The Town of Tyringham thru the Board of Selectmen voted not to renegotiate for electrical power thru the Berkshire Aggregation program. When your meter is read in January 2018 your bill will no longer show “Hampshire Power” under supply services. It will read Eversource.
YOU WILL NOT NOTICE ANY CHANGE IN YOUR ELECTRICITY SERVICE.
You will see Eversource printed under the “supply services” section of your monthly bill. You will continue to receive one bill from Eversource Energy. You will continue to send your payments to Eversource Energy for processing. Eversource Energy will continue to respond to emergencies, read meters and maintain the distribution and transmission lines. Reliability and quality of service will remain the same.
Town residents can choose to purchase power thru another supplier if you would like. Different suppliers and rates can be researched on this website.
