Election Workers needed

updated May 24, 2020

I am writing to see if anyone is willing to work the Annual Town Election scheduled for June 15 , 2020 from 10 AM and 2 PM. I need two (2) folks to work that shift as well as two (2) folks to work as counters from 2 PM till a double count is complete. You do not need to be a registered voter in Tyringham, however, you do need to be a registered voter in Massachusetts.

If you have not worked the elections prior, we would need to meet prior to the election so that I can train you to the election laws and process. It is not a long training session and tailored to your learning style.

I am providing surgical masks to anyone willing to work the Annual Town Election for your safety. I will have a bleach solution to ensure the area is clean as well as hand sanitizer.

I can be reached via email at townclerk@bcn.net or you can leave me a voicemail at 413-243-1749. I do come over every other day and check the machine, sometimes daily, depending on what is going on.

Thank you for your time,

April A. Curtin
